Ever dreamed of launching a new venture
or operating a business in the world's largest, fastest
growing, and most dynamic consumer market? Thousands of
adventurous businesspeople from around the world have followed
this dream all the way to China, and more are joining them as
the country matures, opens and internationalizes.
Professor Juan Fernandez of China Europe International
Business School is coming to Korea with his new book,
China Entrepreneur, to share his find-outs based on
in-depth interviews with 40 successful expatriate
entrepreneurs in China.
From winning the necessary Chinese government approvals and
finding startup funding to fighting corruption and negotiating
with Chinese suppliers, the presentation will include "a lot
of blood, sweat and tears," and many real stories from people
who have been through it before. |

The China Europe International Business
School (CEIBS) is a non-profit joint venture, established in
1994 under an agreement between the Chinese government and the
European Commission. Its predecessor, the China-EC Management
Institute (CEMI), was launched in 1984. Currently, CEIBS
operates a main campus in Shanghai, and representative offices
and teaching facilities in Beijing and Shenzhen. A Beijing
campus will be ready for use in September 2009.
CEIBS is the only Asia-based business school that has
achieved top-tier global rankings for its MBA, EMBA and
Executive Education Programmes.
In 2004 and 2008 respectively, CEIBS successfully received
international accreditation from the European Quality
Improvement System (EQUIS) and from the US-based Association
to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
